How does our application process work?
What steps do you need to take to apply for one of our rentals?
Please follow these instructions carefully to be considered and approved for a property.
- Viewing the property is required. We hand out keys from 10AM to 4PM Monday through Friday. We require applicants to see the property in person before final approval.
- Fill out an application from our website, every potential tenant over the age of 18 has to fill out an application. The link to our application is at the bottom of this page. At the bottom of the application in the ‘Property address/other comments’ field, specify which property you’re applying for and the names of the other tenants you’re applying with. A co-signer is someone who is guaranteeing that the rent will be paid, this is not the section for another adult applicant. Roommates, partners, adult children or dependents, etc need their own full applications.
- The fee is $40 cash per application, nonrefundable. You may pay online using card or your banking account information. Or after you submit your application you may bring $40 in cash to our office located at 3053 Harrison Ave #201. Paying the application fee does not guarantee approval, this is for us to run your credit & background and do a full review of your application.
- Please EMAIL OR BRING IN 2 months of bank statements and 2 recent pay stubs as well. If you do not have paystubs please provide proof of employment or other income. There is no option to submit this information with your application on our website. email: info@tahoepropertymanagement.net
Once we receive your application, we will verify your references (rental & employment). We will also send out a background and credit check that you will need to approve.

*Co-Signer is not required, when you are directed to the COSIGNER page just select submit at the bottom if you do not have a co-signer, this is an optional page to be filled out. A Co-signer is not the other applicant for the home, roommate or family member. A co-signer is someone who will help pay the rent if you cannot, they are guaranteeing the rent will be paid on time monthly.
If these instructions are not followed in full then your application will not be reviewed.
